Ömer Can Bakan graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Architecture in 2018. He participated in many organizations and competitions during his undergraduate education. He was a founding member of the Istanbul Technical University Fabbees Digital Fabrication Team. He won a degree as one of the 3 teams representing Turkey in the international competition called FabFest organized by Westminster University in England. After graduation, he worked as an architect and visualization specialist for two years in İzmir. During this period, he gained experience in architectural practice. He completed his master's degree at Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture with a full scholarship. In his master's thesis, he studied city image in digital media and continues his research in this area. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Izmir Institute of Technology in the Architecture Department. He has been working at Yaşar University as a research assistant since 2019 and assists architectural design studio and architectural history courses.
